Daily driving on the road
It is inevitable that you will encounter situations where you need to make a U-turn

Let's take a look

<h1 class="pgc-h-arrow-right" data-track="9" > a U-turn</h1>
There is a place to make an early U-turn
Many roads are close to the intersection, there is a special left turn, U-turn in advance of the lane entrance, the owner of the car to turn on the left turn signal in advance, without affecting other normal vehicles to turn around.
Intersections with U-turn signs
Vehicles may turn around while ensuring their own safety and that of others when the traffic light with a U-turn indication is a green light, or at a sign in the lane that allows a U-turn.
There is no explicit prohibition on U-turns and left-turning intersections
In general, as long as there is no sign prohibiting U-turn, it is possible to make a U-turn without affecting the normal driving of the vehicle and ensuring safety. The central barrier of most roads also changes from a solid line to a dotted line when approaching the intersection.
At the yellow mesh line
The yellow gridline area can be U-turned, as long as there is no barrier in the center, and after avoiding normally moving vehicles, you can make a U-turn in this area. However, if the red light is lit in front of you, avoid parking in this area.
At the dotted line
Vehicles close to the side of the dotted line can make a U-turn if it is safe to do so.
Green belt U-turn sub-situation
Which side of the dotted green belt line, the vehicle on that side can make a U-turn from here. Note that U-turns are not controlled by the traffic lights at this time, but be careful to avoid vehicles that are normally going straight.
When there is a solid line in front of the green belt, you must follow the traffic signal and cross the zebra crossing before turning around.

Intersections with signs prohibiting U-turns or prohibiting left turns
Intersections have signs that clearly prohibit U-turns and cannot make U-turns. Even if the U-turn is an extension of the left turn, it is not possible to turn left at the intersection or without a left turn sign.
Zebra crossing area at the intersection
The crosswalk area of the zebra crossing cannot be turned around, and it should be crossed after the zebra crossing at the green light of the intersection, and it is absolutely not possible to turn around on the zebra crossing.
Straight lane
Some intersections do not have a left turn lane. The leftmost lane is a straight lane, at which point the vehicle can only go straight, not turn left or make a U-turn.
On the highway
U-turn on the highway is one of the most dangerous traffic violations, some car owners and friends driving on the highway do not pay attention to the traffic signs, missed the on-ramp after turning around and retrograde, very dangerous, once found, will be punished with 12 points, a fine of 200 yuan.
Other special circumstances
According to Article 49 of the Regulations for the Implementation of the Road Traffic Safety Law, it is forbidden to turn around at railway crossings, bridges, sharp bends, steep slopes, tunnels or sections of roads prone to danger.
According to the Provisions of the Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China:
U-turn at a place where U-turns or left-turn signs or markings are prohibited;
U-turns in dangerous sections:
Obstructing the passage of normally moving vehicles and pedestrians when making a U-turn;
A fine of 100 yuan to 200 yuan will be imposed.
Be sure to look closely before making a U-turn at the intersection
Only when you have confirmed the safety of driving can you make a U-turn
