Atletico Madrid beat Real Betis 3-0 at home on Sunday to return to victory and move their opponents to fourth place in the table.

After two consecutive draws in the league, Atletico played one of the best matches of the season against Manuel Pellegrini's side, who have been hoping to remain at the top of the table after three consecutive wins.
Yannick Carrasco scored in the middle of the first half, then Atletico extended their lead an hour later when Betis defender German Pezzella headed the corner header into his goal.
Felix, who came off the bench, completed the attack, taking a beautiful shot from the left in the final moments, past the goalkeeper and into the far corner.
Atletico moved up to fourth in the table with 22 points, two points behind leaders Real Madrid, Sevilla and Real Sociedad, who will face Athletic Bilbao on Sunday night. Betis slipped one spot to 21 points to finish fifth.
"We're happy not only to win the game, but also not to let them score. They are one of the best teams of the season and we have to use today's momentum to continue fighting for the title," Carrasco told Spanish television after the match.
Atletico showed dominance in the heavy rain at the Mets, with Diego Simeone's side having won the game by a bigger margin, not for the heroic performance of Bettis's Claudio Bravo goalkeeper.
Atletico got off to a strong start, with Betis's Chile goalkeeper making two excellent saves against Antoine Griezmann and Angel Correa, both of which were made by Argentine midfielder Rodrigo de Paulo.
However, it was only a matter of time before Atletico took the lead and Correa passed the ball to Carrasco, who scored with a powerful left-footed shot.
Atletico kept harassing Betis' defence in the second half, and VAR's second goal was blocked, suggesting that Mario Hermoso was offside before receiving a header from Griezmann's cross.
Instead, Betis' Veteran Argentine defender Pezzella tried to clear Griezmann's corner kick, only to have the header into his net.
Felix scored the third goal with Luis Suarez with 20 minutes left in the game, which was initially ruled offside, and later overturned by a VAR check to give the home team an easy win.
