Liu Huilong is one of them. Liu Huilong, male, joined the army in December 1997, a member of the Communist Party of China, is currently the driver of a special car at the Xicheng Street Fire Rescue Station of the Lindian Brigade of the Daqing Fire Rescue Detachment, and a second-class fire chief. But less than two days after returning home, he hesitated again, leaving behind his elderly parents, his toiling wife, and his youngest daughter. When the attentive wife saw him coaxing his child to play, she was absent-minded and thoughtful. A gentle but familiar voice came in his ear, "Huilong, do you have a heart?" He lowered his head, not daring to look his wife in the eye, and said, "No! ”
At this time, his heart was so entangled, tossed, inexplicable, after a night of deep thinking, he thought: give up the small family, for everyone; the country is difficult, the husband has the responsibility, it is time to resign to his parents and wife. So he desperately used the shortest time to complete most of the heavy physical farm work, repaired his own home appliance well, and finally explained the origin of the matter and his inner thoughts to the family, obtained the support of his family, settled in the family, packed lightly, and returned to the team in advance. In the end, he became a member of the Wenchuan earthquake relief team and followed the team to Wenchuan for the first time.
Although he can devote himself to his work with a selfless spirit, he has too much guilt for his family. During the more than four months of training in the headquarters, he handed over his one-year-old daughter to his mother's care, resolutely insisted on working at his job, working hard with the team members on the training ground, and only going back to see the children once a month. One night, he was training with the team members to pick up the lamp, the family suddenly called to say that the daughter was sick, the fever reached 39.1 degrees, the mother was anxious to be overwhelmed, which also anxiously missed the child Liu Huilong, but the training ground needed him more, he considered that it was about to play, and leaving the training ground at this time would definitely affect the training mood of the team members. He endured the heartache and resolutely stayed, calling his relatives living in Longjiang's hometown to help his mother take the child to the hospital. After examination, the child was admitted to the hospital with acute laryngitis and could not say anything. However, due to fatigue and anxiety, his mother fell ill again, and stayed in the hospital for a week, although this was the case, but his mother called to prevent him from going back, instructing him to do a good job, strong him, in the fire field of difficult fighting without being understood by the people did not cry, in the training ground hard training injured did not cry, but this time, he finally could not help hiding in the office and crying out in pain. In August 2010, after several days of rainfall, the water level soared during the flood season, resulting in the raw material barrel of a chemical enterprise near the Songhua River in Jilin Province being swept into the main stream of the Songhua River by flooding, the chemical raw materials were highly toxic, and it was very easy to collide in the torrent to cause the barrel wall to rupture, pollution threatened the safety of people and livestock downstream, and more importantly, if salvage and interception were unfavorable, it would cause international incidents in neighboring Russia. Zhaoyuan County, Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province, borders Songyuan City, Jilin Province, and is ruled by the Songhua River, located in the first line of defense of the main stream of the Songhua River into Heilongjiang, downstream is the provincial capital Harbin, with a population of more than 10 million, and the situation is 100,000 urgent. The corps dispatched the strength of the whole province to Zhaoyuan and went all out to intercept and salvage.
