On October 28th, 2,000 honeysuckle seedlings produced in pingyi, Shandong, a famous honeysuckle producer, were carefully cultivated into the seedling breeding base of Huangjiakou Village, Wuyi County, Hengshui City. This is the first batch of new high-yield seedlings donated by the Rural Revitalization Task Force of CcDB Hengshui Branch in Huangjiakou Village, Wuyi County, for the development of Chinese herbal medicine characteristic planting industry in the village, which has the advantages of large yield, concentrated picking period and high effective ingredients.
In view of the situation that Huangjiakou Village has a single industry and a large number of idle and weak laborers, the village-based team of CCB Hengshui Branch conducted in-depth research with the support of branch leaders, selected new varieties of honeysuckle with large market demand and saved time, actively publicized the advantages and economic value of new product planting to villagers, dispelled villagers' concerns, and mobilized farmers' enthusiasm for planting.
At present, under the guidance of the task force, 4 farmers in Huangjiakou Village have demonstrated the planting of new varieties of seedlings in 5 mu of forest land. In the later stage, the team will also teach them professional planting techniques, solve the technical needs of honeysuckle drying, and help planters find product sales channels, and promote the development of the characteristic planting industry based on Chinese herbal medicines with point and surface, and then drive the industrial revitalization of the entire region.
