Recently, the 34th Amsterdam International Documentary Film Festival announced the shortlist, directed by Zhao Liang, CNEX co-produced and produced the documentary feature film "I'm So Sorry", selected for the Best of Fests unit. Produced by Banijay's British company Workerbee, True Death in Paradise tells the story of a mysterious death in the UK. The programme conducts in-depth research on closed and unsolved cases by interviewing the victim's family, friends and agents through access to archives, supported by police evidence, news reports, home videos, etc.
The BBC has launched a number of new natural history and humanities documentaries
The BBC has unveiled a new series of natural history programmes from BBC 1, BBC 2 and iPlayer, as well as a humanities documentary starring Paralympic player Ellie Simmonds.
Produced by the BBC's Natural History Department for BBC 1 and iPlayer, Asia (tentative name), a 7-episode series, will showcase the breathtaking beauty and wonders of Asia. Cineflix Rights has signed an agreement with Australia's SBS television station to provide it with more than 20 hours of documentary programming, featuring high-quality historical documentaries.

FilmRise commissioned "Making a Serial Killer"
FilmRise has ordered a brand new 10-episode true crime drama, Making a Serial Killer, from FirstLookTV. This series explores the motivations of serial killers. Each episode focuses on a serial killer such as Jesse Matthew, Don Miller, and Bruce McArthur, whose stories are presented through interviews with detectives, survivors and their families, and video footage from the interrogation room.

Announce the location of offline events
The 2021 World Congress of Science and Documentary Producers (WCSFP) is now open for registration, and the organizers have announced that Strasbourg, France, will be the main offline event host city for this year's conference.
The 2021 WCSFP will be held online from November 30 to December 2, 2021, with a series of offline conference centers around the world to complement the online conference schedule. As a major city for offline exchange, Strasbourg will be the only city to offer multi-day networking opportunities and B2B meeting spaces.
