(4) The trunk is painted white. When adults begin to appear, use 5 kg of lime, 0.5 kg of sulfur powder and 20 kg of water to paint on the trunks of trees below 1.4 m underground, and then apply once a month to prevent adults from laying eggs.

(5) Catch and kill the adult worms. At the peak of adulthood, adult orange cattle are usually active at night on sweltering sunny days. It mainly lives on branches at noon and afternoon on sunny days, and lays eggs at the bottom of the trunk at night. Flashlights can be used to light them manually, hunting them down.

(6) Prevent adult worms from laying eggs. Clean the feces at the entrance of the cave before the adults emerge from the cave. A rotten strip of cloth is dipped in 80% of the methotrex emulsion stock solution, cold into the hole, and then the entrance is sealed with soil to poison the adult worms and prevent spawning.
