Although there are not many opportunities to shoot birds by yourself, but a chance to always think about shooting it, a few days ago there was something at home, back to the hometown of Linfen, listening to film friends said that there are some new bird species along the Fenhe River, so still take the time, with the E-M1Mark III body and 300mmF4 fixed focus head plus 1.4 times the extender mirror borrowed from Olympus Camera Shanxi General Distribution Dahengke Digital Company to the river, to see if there is a chance to shoot birds and also casually experience the performance of this equipment.

I wasn't disappointed that there were no less than a dozen different species of birds along the river from north to south, and the most influential and numerous of them was this little bird called the black-winged sandpiper (yù).
According to sources, the black-necked long-legged sandpiper (scientific name: Himantopus mexicanus) is a slender black-and-white wading bird. The body length is about 37 cm, and due to its special body shape, the double is called the red-legged lady and the stilt plover.
It is characterized by a slender black mouth, black wings, long red legs, white body feathers, and black patches on the nape of the neck. The juveniles are thicker brown and have ash on the top of their heads and the back of their necks. Its natural habitats are lakes, shallow ponds and swamps in open plain meadows.
This bird has a wide range of distribution in the world, generally moving to the breeding ground in northern China from the beginning of April to early May in the spring, and leaving the northern breeding ground in the autumn to migrate south.
They prefer to move alone, in pairs or in small groups in shallow water or on swamps, feeding mainly on mollusks, shrimp, crustaceans, link animals, insects, insect larvae, and animal foods such as small fish and tadpoles.
Its mouth is slender and straight, the body is white and black, the contrast is clear, although the size is not too large, but it has a pair of thin legs more than 30 centimeters long, so it is also known as the "long-legged lady" and the "supermodel" in the bird.
Over the years, the natural environment of the hometown has changed day by day, so that many birds will always attract many birds to stay and live here throughout the year. And this bird is the first time I have seen it in Linfen.
Currently, the black-winged sandpiper is listed on the IUCN's 2013 Red List of Threatened Species ver 3.1 - Low Risk (LC) level.
Looking at its cute appearance, I really feel that I should praise the beautiful nature
Haha, sorry, the first time to meet with everyone, please take more care and like me
