This primitive gecko had a flat head and huge eyes, and may have been a nocturnal predator like its modern close relatives. It is agile and can catch insect spiders and smaller scorpions with its powerful jaws. Whether it has the "finger pads" of modern geckos (finger pads are specialized scales under the toes, and "finger pads" allow them to crawl along smooth vertical surfaces).
