The theme of the day was "Tradition & Pioneer: Strange Experiences". What is a pioneer? In Yang Huijuan's view, when not obeying rigid thinking and expression, uneasy with the dull and repressive reality, using their own thinking and actions to break through the shackles of inertia, expanding the boundaries of the industry, but also exploring the possibility of aesthetics, generating a strange experience for the public. How did this strange experience arise? How does it continue the past and the future in time? And how to break through the changes and explore new aesthetic possibilities?
Ke Jun, general manager and artistic director of Jiangsu Performing Arts Group, believes that "experience" is the most valuable, because "experience" is actually tradition, that is, people have formed a fine tradition and formed a norm. These "experiences" have been created by generations of artists and teachers, which can make people reduce some misunderstandings and blind spots more.
Designer and curator Chen Weixin said that tradition has always evolved with time, experience is more personal, when people's experience overlaps, it may become a tradition, become a trace of the times and continue. So it will be replaced, it will be replaced by every era.
