In the seventh national census, the census registration objects of Zhongshan City are natural persons living within the administrative region of Zhongshan City at the standard time of the census and residents with household registration in Zhongshan City who live outside the administrative area of Zhongshan City, but do not include short-term stays in Zhongshan City, such as business trips, tourism, sightseeing, visiting relatives, friends and other residents and overseas personnel. From October 11 to October 31, the enumerator has to walk into the streets and alleys, door by door to conduct field surveys, at this time the households can determine the way of filling in their own families with the enumerators, whether to ask the enumerators to register or choose to fill in the reports independently. If you choose to fill in the report yourself, the enumerator will use the electronic collection device to generate a two-dimensional code to the residents, and the residents can start filling in the census information of themselves and their family members after successfully scanning the two-dimensional code, until the deadline of November 5.
From November 1 to November 15, the short form registration period is a time when enumerators will come to the door to register households that choose to register at home or fail to complete the self-report before November 5. After the completion of the registration of the short form, the state will also randomly select 10% of households to fill in the long census form, and the census instructor will visit the long table households again from November 16 to 30 to investigate more detailed population structure information.
