The Shanghai Library has a collection of 250,000 inscriptions and rubbings, of which more than 3,000 can be called rare books, which are among the best in China in terms of quantity and quality. This exhibition selects the Tang Stele Extensions carved from zhenguan to the middle ages, covering almost the critical period of the development of calligraphy in the entire Tang Dynasty, and selects more than 60 kinds of Tang steles, and nearly half of the exhibits belong to the national first-class and second-class cultural relics. In addition to the treasure "Si Ou Bao Di" of the town hall in the picture above, a variety of national treasures such as Song Tuo Ben, Orphan Book, and Chu Tuo Rare Book are also exhibited.
