At about 6 a.m. on the morning of the 23rd, the Border Police Station of Baiyu bay in Mishan City received an alarm from residents, saying that a tiger was found in a farm yard in the 10th group of Linhu Village, Baiyuwan Town, Mishan City. The Baiyuwan Border Police Station in Mishan City immediately dispatched police forces to protect the scene and evacuate the crowd. After preliminary determination, this tiger is a wild Siberian tiger. At about 11 o'clock, wild Siberian tigers crossed the farmland from Linhu Village 10 to Linhu Village Group 1, and the jixi city public security department quickly closed the scene.

At about 17:00 on the 23rd, the staff of the Forestry and Grassland Bureau of Heilongjiang Province and wildlife experts arrived at the scene. Due to the aggressive nature of wild Siberian tigers, at about 18:00, experts from the Heilongjiang Provincial Forestry and Grassland Bureau, together with the staff of Jixi City and the Mishan City Public Security Bureau, the Forestry and Grassland Bureau, began to round up, and finally used an anesthesia gun to control it at 21:00 that night, and then moved the wild Siberian tiger into a cage and handed it over to the experts of the Heilongjiang Provincial Forestry and Grassland Bureau for placement.
