According to the "Wuzhong Daily" in Ningxia, on 1 September, a meeting of the city's leading cadres was held, and the meeting announced the decision of the regional party committee on the appointment and dismissal of the main leading posts of the Wuzhong Municipal Government: Comrade Wang Xuejun was appointed as a member, standing committee member, and deputy secretary of the Wuzhong Municipal CPC Committee and nominated as a candidate for mayor of the Wuzhong Municipal People's Government; Comrade Xi Qingjiang was appointed secretary of the party leading group of the Autonomous Region's Finance Department and dismissed from the posts of deputy secretary, standing committee member, member, and mayor of Wuzhong Municipal CPC Committee.
According to the data of the local party and government leaders database of China Economic Network, Wang Xuejun, born in January 1968, previously served as deputy secretary of the Guyuan Municipal Party Committee and secretary of the Xiji County Party Committee, and won the title of "National Excellent County Party Secretary" in June this year. Xi Qingjiang, born in August 1965, became the mayor of Wuzhong City in 2015.

He is currently the deputy secretary of the Wuzhong Municipal Party Committee and nominated as a candidate for mayor.
