Beware of this little bug! It's high again! There have been 3 deaths in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Anyi University!
The father brushed his daughter's hair, and a white "grain of rice" suddenly appeared on the scalp, and the doctor pulled out half of it and was frightened

Recently, a 67-year-old peasant woman in Hanshan was accidentally bitten by a tick when she was doing farm work in the mountains, and the most shocking thing for her family was that the old man was infected with the dangerous new Bunia virus and almost died.
Three days after the incident, because of the sudden fever, the old man remembered to tell his family about the tick bite, because he did not get better because of the medicine, the old man came to the Fourth Affiliated Hospital of Anyi University for treatment.
"When the patient came, there were different degrees of damage to high fever, thrombocytopenia, mental malaise, and liver and kidney function." Liu Liguang, deputy chief physician of the Department of Respiratory Medicine of the Fourth Affiliated Hospital of Anyi University, said that the examination found that Du Daniang's back and buttocks had been bitten by ticks in three places, and it was considered to be a new type of Bunia virus infection.
How can tick bites be prevented during high seasons?
Jin Mengmeng, chief physician of the Department of Respiratory Medicine of the Fourth Affiliated Hospital of Anyi University, introduced that first of all, it is necessary to avoid sitting and lying down for a long time in the main habitat of ticks such as grassland and woods. If you need to enter such areas, you should pay attention to personal protection, advocate wearing long-sleeved clothes; do not wear sandals; tie the trouser legs or tuck the trouser legs into socks or shoes; wear light-colored clothes to make it easy to find whether there are ticks to climb; the surface of knitted clothes is as smooth as possible, so that ticks are not easy to adhere; after the end of daily tourism activities, tourists should also carefully check their bodies and clothes to see if there are ticks in or climbing, and remove ticks immediately after finding ticks. When it is necessary to work in the field or camp, camping equipment such as clothes and tents can be soaked with insecticides, such as permethrin and repellents containing DEET.

If you're stung, don't drag it around!
Jin Mengmeng reminded that if you find yourself bitten by ticks, you should not forcibly pull out the ticks like Du Da Niang, and you should go to the nearest hospital to treat the wound.
Tick bites like to find tender places to bite, and when they bite, they burrow their heads and claws into the skin to suck blood, and ticks carry spreadable bacteria all over their bodies. If you find that you are bitten by ticks, don't pull hard, otherwise if the worm body drilled in the skin can't be pulled clean, leaving some "souvenirs", it will be a big trouble.
● Remove with small forceps
Once you find the figure of a tick on your body, you must not pinch, drag or otherwise stimulate it, because doing so may break the tick's mouthparts in the skin, but use small forceps close to the skin, firmly clamp the position of the tick's head, do not rotate, twist it, but pull the tick straight out. If the tick's head is still in the skin, you need to proceed to the next step.
● Remove tick heads
Clean the skin with alcohol first, find the tick's head with a sterilized needle, and get it out.
● Apply antibiotic ointment
After the ticks have been completely removed, wash your hands and bites with soap and water, and apply some antibiotic ointment. However, be aware that antibiotics only reduce the chance of common infections and do not prevent other bacterial-borne diseases.
Tips
It is recommended that once you find out that you have been bitten by ticks, you should also seek medical attention as soon as possible. Also, if possible, do not throw away the plucked tick, you can put it in a sealed plastic bag or bottle and freeze it in the refrigerator. In this way, if you have the unfortunate symptoms of tick-borne disease in the future, it will help doctors find the cause of the disease more easily.
