Based on this, MUDA-Architects took "a book falling from the sky" as the starting point of the story and drew an ecological blueprint of "the integration of mountains and rivers and the symbiosis of the city". The appearance of the bookstore building is derived from the "book", through this metaphor, the architect hopes that the user can truly go to the architectural space, in a quiet environment, to read the self, to complete a journey of self-discovery.
The bookstore building is linearly unfolded in accordance with the site conditions, the curved slope roof shape echoes the architectural vocabulary of the traditional roof of the Western Sichuan people's houses, and the unique "fish scale" texture formed by the building skin complements the sparkling water surface. The glass curtain wall on the lakeside side extends underwater, introducing soft water light to the sunken space in the room, setting off a quiet and beautiful reading atmosphere.

The architectural space interacts positively with the natural environment, integrating and responding to the site's natural environment in a somewhat almost "translucent" way: trees, meadows, aquatic grasses, gentle and expansive lakes, expressing the design's respect and reverence for nature.
Entering the bookstore from the main entrance on the south side, the scale of the space is not fully displayed - the entrance is just the right front desk, a few steps and two art exhibition walls, through the glass on the left, the lake is faintly introduced into the interior, and the core area of the entire building is not visible. Instantly silence people.
Descend a few steps to reveal the sunken reading area hidden behind the exhibition wall. Stand, lean, or sit on the steps at will, you can enter the most comfortable reading state.
On the left side of the bookstore, the underwater glass curtain wall is nearly one meter deep, making people feel as if they are in the "underwater world". The translucent blue-green lake water is rich in aquatic grass, and swimming fish can often be seen swimming around. A row of tables and chairs is arranged along the glass curtain wall, forming a coffee reading area. Sitting here, in the soft light and shadow, you can capture the rapid changes of nature and enjoy the gifts of nature.
There is a meditation area on the right side of the bookstore, which is a wonderful space for readers to talk to themselves. It is a long corridor-like space, close to the partition wall on the side of the reading area, with a horizontal slender opening, the height of the opening is flush with the human point of view, making people feel as if they are outside the world, through the opening, seeing the whole world.
