Spring, once again, is coming.
In this beautiful time, we enjoy the feast of nature's gifts: peach red willow green, plum blossoms, more colorful fall, fragrant snow into the sea.
Casual spring rest, accompanied by "countless falling red", spring will always come in a hurry, and quietly leave, no wonder the ancients wrote an infinite sigh of "complaining about spring".
The poet's helplessness was transformed into an ideal under the pen of the painter Zhang Fengtang. Zhang Fengtang used vivid pen and ink language to freeze the spring of birds and flowers in a piece of Zhang Guohua painting, realizing the strong desire of a generation of literary heroes to abandon the disease and "spring and live". Of course, the meaning of the ancients' words is more the expression of the feelings of home and country, and when it comes to the painter's pen, it is more of a display of artistic contemplation, so as to express the praise of nature and the beautiful life of the moment.
Most of Zhang Fengtang's paintings of flowers and birds are based on what they have encountered and seen in life, and the scenery around them is immediate. For example, the magnolias, plum blossoms, begonias and so on in the painting academy. In the process of depiction, it gives life a vigorous vitality. His work "East Wind Broken", Xinyi flower buds, high branches, moist spring rain, thriving, let the viewer appreciate the infinite charm of nature, resulting in a desire for a better life. In addition, Zhang Fengtang's birds and insects and animals are even more interesting soul dynamics; parrots have many mouths, hedgehogs are thick, chickens are clumsy, frogs are active, and so on... All of them use condensed pen and ink to capture the looks of small animals and convey the ecological environment of harmonious coexistence in nature.
The flower and bird paintings exhibited in this exhibition are a portrayal of Mr. Zhang Fengtang's love of art and love of life. The work vividly shows the impressions in life. The quiet and beautiful pictures convey the fragrance of flowers, the affection of leaves, and the simple mentality of the animal world that wants to live in peace with humans.
