Located 15 kilometers southwest of Laiwu District, 1 hour and 20 minutes drive from the central urban area of the provincial capital, 15 minutes by car, surrounded by mountains and rivers, the transportation is convenient, and it can be reached in 15 minutes after getting off the highway from the Laiwu West Toll Station of the Taylor Expressway.
The village was founded in the Ming Dynasty, huang surname jian village, located in the Yuntai Mountain behind the Xiaoshi River on both sides. There are many natural caves in Yuntai Mountain, one of which is the Oriole Pigeon Cave, which is inhabited by many partridge pigeons, hence the name of our village.
The existing mountain forest area of the village is 3300 mu, and the forest coverage rate is as high as 70%. In the distance, the pines on the top of the mountain wear hats, the mountainside persimmon peppercorns, and the fruit orchards under the mountain are fragrant.
In recent years, our village has been rated as a provincial beautiful rural demonstration village, a provincial cultural characteristic village, a municipal and rural revitalization Qilu model demonstration village, a municipal democratic rule of law demonstration village and many other honorary titles.
Red flags flutter
Walking south along Liu Zhongying Avenue, you can see the red flag with the party emblem flying in mid-air in the distance, spanning both sides of the road, which is very spectacular. From here, our journey of party sex education today has officially begun.

Entering the exhibition hall, the atmosphere is solemn and solemn, which makes people quickly sink their hearts, full of reverence, and listen carefully to the red years.
The exhibition hall is divided into two floors, from the first spark, the glory of Qilu, bloody storms, going forward and following, independent struggle, exploration and advancement, iron-blooded responsibility, self-construction work committee, the same enemy, rising up to resist the war and other 8 parts tell the glorious history.
Precious pictures, historical relics, cast bronze reliefs, restore the scene everywhere, through the scene to feel and listen, as if back to that era, immersed in it, quite shocked.
The exhibition ends with a brightly colored party flag, which means "the light before and after, the past and the future", where visitors can relive the oath of joining the party.
Behind the bright red party flag is a sacred area, where immortal monuments shine brightly, and the photos and brief deeds of heroes and martyrs in the major historical periods of the party's development are concentrated on three walls, and they are either young, mature, or twilight, the same is the light of firm faith in the eyes of the bright eyes.
Stepping out of the exhibition area, stepping on the escalator, looking up at the sky, the huge red party emblem comes into view, and the sunlight hits the party emblem and flashes a golden light, which also alludes to the bright prospects of our party.
Party History Cultural Square
Turning right in the exhibition hall, on the left-hand side is the Party History and Culture Square, which adopts the form of one step and one monument and one monument and one event, radiating to three sides with the establishment of the Shandong Provincial Working Committee of the Cpc in November 1935 as the center, telling a shocking revolutionary event.
Tributary of the Mouwen River
From the party history and culture square to the south, you can hear the sound of trickling water, the tributaries of the Mouwen River winding in front of the exhibition hall, babbling into the ears, the railing overlooking, you can see the mountains, you can see the water, and the nostalgia pours into your heart in an instant.
Leisure and cultural square
Pacing forward again, you will come to the Cultural Square, where benches, ancient wells, bamboo forests, and flowers are reflected in each other, and there is also a special feeling for resting here.
Former residence of Liu Zhongying
Walking forward, not far away is Liujia Hutong, where the bulges and depressions on the bluestone bricks seem to tell the hardships and tribulations of the early Chinese Communists.
After passing through the stone arch, it does not take a few steps to come to a courtyard in the architectural style of the late Qing Dynasty, the former residence of Liu Zhongying, the former site of the Shandong Provincial Working Committee.
In the 1930s, under the white terror, the Shandong Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China was repeatedly destroyed. The Communists represented by Liu Zhongying and Zhao Jianmin persisted in the struggle and persisted in finding the party, and in the absence of any success in their search, they established the CPC Shandong Provincial Working Committee here in 1935, which became an important turning point in the history of the development of party organizations in Shandong.
Since then, the Shandong Provincial Working Committee has restored the unified leadership of the party's work in the province, and has never been interrupted, leaving a strong mark in the history of the CPC's Shandong revolution.
Pigeon House Reservoir
Out of Liu Zhongying's former residence, continue south for about 1 kilometer, and then come to the Pigeon Lou Reservoir, a medium-sized reservoir, which was previously mainly based on irrigation and aquaculture, and has now become a source of drinking water.
A pool of blue water, like a green gem shining, has now become a good place for recreational fishing and sightseeing.
Yuntai Mountain Red Theme Park
Walk along the reservoir levee from north to south, drive over the levee to the southeast mountain, and soon you will come to the Yuntai Mountain Red Theme Park. Lo and behold, it's the opposite mountain.....
On the way up the mountain, you can see the sign "Monk Cave Entrance" not far away, and you can continue for a few minutes to reach your destination.
There are many revolutionary sites and sculptures in the red theme park, where you can more truly feel the red spirit left by the predecessors.
The miraculous creation of nature has led to the emergence of many strange caves on Yuntai Mountain, among which the monk's cave is even more famous because of the establishment of the Laiwu County Committee of the Communist Party of China here. The cave is natural, the entrance is about 10 meters wide and about 5 meters high. Not far into the cave, the bottom of the cave suddenly moved up, the cave body contracted into a firm pod shape, you have to bend sideways to enter, after entering the vision reopened, fantasy is endless.

Red heritage, good mountains and good water, let our village, Niuquan Town have a lot of spirit. Before returning home, you can bring some local specialties to your family and friends.
