FTSE Russell is reportedly considering making significant adjustments to the FTSE China A50 index, including a possible doubling of its constituent ratio to 100. FTSE Russell CEO Starr said consultations with investors had recently ended and changes under consideration included expanding the index's coverage to 100 companies. He also said the market is changing, the economy is changing and the index needs to be updated to reflect the transparency of the investment opportunities investors are currently looking for, hoping the index will remain "as relevant as possible."
