In order to strengthen the construction of spiritual civilization in rural areas and actively advocate the masses to stress civilization and eliminate bad habits, on October 28, Sheqiao Town, Pingyu County, Zhumadian City, held a 2021 work promotion meeting on "advocating the change of customs and establishing a new style of civilization", which was attended by members of the town's party and government groups, secretaries of village (residence) branches, and staff of all units directly under the town.
The meeting stressed: Establish and improve a long-term work mechanism, regard the transfer of customs and customs as a long-term task, pay close attention to education guidance, system guidance, propaganda guidance, and typical guidance, and promote the construction of spiritual civilization to a new level; comprehensively consolidate work responsibilities, and town party members and cadres should set an example by example, resolutely implement the relevant regulations on changing customs and customs, give full play to the power of example, and resolutely and consciously implement them in place.
After the meeting, the party members and cadres of the whole town organized special party classes and morality lectures in various villages, set up propaganda tables in public activity venues with a large flow of people in townships and towns, hung banners, and organized volunteers to distribute propaganda coloring pages, etc., to carry out all-round propaganda, improve the awareness and support rate of the masses, call on everyone to talk about civilization, create a new style, and create a strong propaganda atmosphere.
