The University of Basel (German name: Universität Basel) is switzerland's oldest university and internationally renowned research university, located in Basel, the half-cantonal capital of the Swiss city of Basel.

Entry requirements
If you have a Bachelor's degree from a Chinese university (Bachelor of Arts or Science), you can enter the University of Basel without exams.
After graduating from high school or secondary school plus two years of university qualification, you must pass the entrance examination (five subjects) of a Swiss tertiary institution (e.g. the Preparatory Class of the University of Fribourg, Switzerland).
In addition to one of the above two conditions, of course, it is also necessary to know the language of instruction in German, and the minimum requirement is to pass the German proficiency test of the German intermediate level of the German Academy of Germany (score: good).
