At about 13:00 on August 9, a drowning accident occurred in the ditch behind the guihua school construction site in Hanchang Street, Pingjiang County, causing 2 students to drown.
It is understood that at 12:57 on the same day, after the county 110 command center received the police, the Tianyue police station of the county public security bureau, the Hanchang street office, the community at the site of the incident, and the 120 emergency center immediately rushed to the scene to carry out rescue. Subsequently, 2 students were salvaged ashore and died after all-out rescue. At present, the follow-up disposal work is still in progress.
