Chengdu, July 11 (Reporter Zhang Lang) On the 11th, the Chongqing North - Qionglai direct train was launched, and since then, Qionglai has become the first county (city) in Chengdu to open a direct high-speed rail with Chongqing, with a journey of about 3.5 hours.
At 8:43 a.m. on the same day, the first train departed from Qionglai to Chongqing. It is understood that in order to accelerate the integration of western Sichuan into the chengdu-Chongqing area twin-city economic circle and facilitate the travel of the people along the line, from July 11, a pair of new pairs of Qionglai-Chongqing north EMU trains will be opened, which will run through the Chengya Railway and the Chengsuiyu section of the Shanghai-Hanrong Railway, stopping at Chengdu West Railway Station, Chengdu Station, Daying East Station, Suining Station and Tongnan Station along the way, running for about 3.5 hours.
In recent years, Qionglai is committed to warming and win-win development with surrounding cities, jointly building a boutique scenic spot around Longmen Mountain, and jointly launching boutique tourism routes with Ya'an Mingshan District, Yucheng District, Tianquan County and other cities along the western Sichuan tourism route to win the praise of tourists. This time, the opening of the high-speed railway directly to Chongqing, the linkage and in-depth cooperation with Chongqing's cultural tourism resources, will promote the coordinated development of cultural tourism between the two places and extend the Bashu Cultural Tourism Corridor.
