Wujiazhuang Farmhouse is 106 square meters, using the local traditional cave form, it is a "3 large, 2 small, 5 bay" residence, 3 large rooms are living rooms and bedrooms, the upper roof is a barrel arch structure; 2 small rooms are kitchens and toilets.

The printing construction of the farmhouse uses 3 sets of robotic arm 3D printed concrete mobile platforms, placed in the center of the 3 large bays, directly for in-situ printing of the foundation and wall, and at the same time, on both sides of the robotic arm track outside the building, all the barrel arch roofs are prefabricated and printed on the spot, and the barrel arch roof is assembled to the printed wall with a crane. The external wall of the building adopts the woven texture as a decoration, which is printed in conjunction with the structural wall, and the insulation material is infused in the center of the wall to form an external wall system integrating decoration, structure and insulation.

Building structure safety is an important part of the new construction method of 3D printing, in this project, structural engineers used Midas software to carry out overall calculation and analysis of the three-dimensional body model, first of all, according to the requirements of material saving, the arch roof and wall are designed as hollow walls with truss, combined with the size of the material outlet at the front end of the 3D printing equipment, respectively, the truss arrangement of arches and walls and other components is analyzed and compared in depth, so as to determine the final size of the components Then the actual size of the determined components is fed back to the overall model, and the internal forces of the components are analyzed; finally, the construction lifting analysis is carried out to determine the reasonable construction lifting scheme. The structural design process and the modeling of building shapes can be closely coordinated because parametric digital models provide a smooth way to exchange digital information between the architecture and structural professions. In addition, in order to ensure the reliability of the structure, the component damage tests were carried out on important components such as walls, vaults and flat roofs, and the shaker test of the overall structure of the farmhouse was carried out, thus verifying the safety of the 3D printed concrete construction project.

The composition of the "robotic arm 3D printing concrete mobile platform" includes movable robotic arm and 3D printing equipment, track and movable lifting platform, drag-and-hang platform, etc. In the 3D printing equipment, the robot arm and the printing front end are placed on the lifting platform and can be moved on the platform, while the printing material, loading mixing and pumping machine is placed on the towing platform. The printing platform only needs 2 people to operate the button on the mobile platform to complete the printing and construction of the entire house, fully integrates and simplifies the process of concrete 3D printing, and minimizes the manpower investment required in the printing construction process.
