Recently, the public welfare group of the Shanghai Alumni Association of Nankai University went to Shache County to carry out the listing of Nankai Bookstore and the donation of books and other materials.
With the support of the Shache County Party Committee and the county government and the coordination of the Shanghai Aid to Xinjiang Former Finger Shache Branch, the donation ceremony and symposium of The Nankai Bookstore in Shache County were held in Shache No. 3 Primary School. At the meeting, the representatives of the public welfare group introduced the background of the establishment of Nankai Bookstore, the development situation and the experience of using Nankai Bookstore, and the principals and librarians of each school shared the current use, beneficial experience and current difficulties of Nankai Bookstore in their respective schools.
Subsequently, the public welfare group went to 8 schools in Shache County to maintain the bookstore and replenish supplies. At the same time, the Nankai Bookstore Public Welfare Group also carried out the Nankai Bookstore Reading Public Welfare Lecture with the reading class teachers of some schools, and the on-site response was enthusiastic.
Chen Jian, commander of the Shache branch of Shanghai Aid to Xinjiang and deputy secretary of the Shache County CPC Committee, said that Nankai Bookstore is a carrier to carry forward the spirit of patriotism and national unity, and is to build a bridge between Shache and Nankai University and social caring people.
