Sun Jin, deputy director of the Department of Commerce of Jiangsu Province, said that in the past year, foreign-invested enterprises have full confidence in the Chinese market and fully recognize the business environment in Jiangsu. Jiangsu attaches great importance to the protection of intellectual property rights, and in November last year, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress deliberated and passed the Regulations on Optimizing the Business Environment of Jiangsu, which was officially implemented on January 1 this year. As a local regulation, the regulation provides a legal basis for the protection of the intellectual property rights of foreign-funded enterprises. This year, Jiangsu will also study and issue the "Several Measures to Support the Development of R&D Centers of Foreign-Invested Enterprises", so that every innovative technology of foreign-funded enterprises can be industrialized in Jiangsu and be recognized and rewarded in China's super-large-scale market.
Yin Jianqing, president of the Jiangsu Provincial Council for the Promotion of International Trade, said that the ccpit promotion system has always been an important advocate, pioneer and promoter of the development of China's intellectual property cause, and has made positive contributions in strengthening intellectual property information consulting services, doing fine intellectual property agency, improving the ability of enterprises to confirm, protect and use intellectual property rights, and actively participating in the construction of intellectual property rights along the "Belt and Road". Zhao Qi, Deputy Director of the Provincial Intellectual Property Office, introduced the development and protection of intellectual property rights in Jiangsu Province in 2020. Wang Yang, Director of the Legal Department of the Provincial Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and Zhang Xia, Jiangsu Representative of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, respectively gave keynote speeches on "Diversified Resolution of Intellectual Property Disputes" and "Suzhou and Hong Kong Work Together to Promote Intellectual Property Innovation and Transactions".
On April 27-29, the conference will also hold three thematic activities in Nanjing Jiangbei New Area, Suzhou and Changzhou, including the UK Intellectual Property Management Promotion Innovation Experience Sharing Seminar, the Sino-Dutch Suzhou Science and Technology Innovation Port Project Matchmaking Meeting, and the China-Israel Science and Technology Cooperation and Technology Docking Conference. At that time, the governments of the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Israel, embassy and consulate officials, enterprises will share the construction of the local intellectual property system and development trends, representatives of development parks, scientific research institutions and incubators will carry out publicity and promotion, and thematic activities will also select innovative projects for on-site roadshows.
