Chelsea are reportedly still interested in signing Bayern Munich defender Nikolas Jules and could move next summer.

The 26-year-old's contract with Germany's Bayern expires in 2022, meaning Chelsea can negotiate with him on a free transfer next summer.
Chelsea have close ties to the defender and Bayern officials say discussions are underway with the player's entourage and all options are on the table, but a final decision on the player's future has yet to be made.

The Hoffenheim Academy graduate, who joined Bavaria in 2017, made 20 league appearances in the 2020/21 season and is 195cm tall and is a ferocious beast.
However, Bayern Munich sporting director Hassan Salihamidzic has refuted the rumors, saying the club is satisfied with their current selection of players, including Jules.
