On the morning of October 22, the Anhui Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision announced that Li Yiming, former deputy director of the Anhui Provincial Civil Air Defense Office, was suspected of serious violations of discipline and the law and is currently undergoing disciplinary review and supervision and investigation.
Born in March 1951, Li Yiming is 69 years old and retired in April 2011, retiring for nine years.
Zheng Zhi (WeChat ID: upolitics) noted that Li Yiming is also a well-known Mao calligrapher, who participated in the initiation, preparation and establishment of the China Mao Calligraphers Association, and served as vice chairman. In addition, he is also a member of the Anhui Writers Association and has published works such as "The Mystery of the Green Tile Building".
After combing through the situation, Zheng Zhijun found that since March this year, at least 22 people in the civil air defense system in Anhui Province have been dismissed. In May, the China Discipline Inspection and Supervision Daily published an article calling Anhui Province a "big deal" with the civil air defense system.

Li Yiming was born in March 1951, a native of Hanshan, Anhui. He enlisted in the army at an early age and worked in the airborne troops for more than 30 years, from soldier to division political commissar.
In September 2001, Li Yiming changed careers and became a member of the party group of the Anhui Provincial People's Air Defense Office, and the following month he became the deputy director of the Anhui Provincial People's Air Defense Office.
In April 2011, Li Yiming retired and worked in the Anhui Provincial Civil Air Defense Office for 10 years.
Since the beginning of this year, including Li Yiming, three leading cadres of the Anhui Provincial People's Air Defense Office have been dismissed.
On April 29 this year, Guan Zhaolin, deputy director of the Anhui Provincial People's Air Defense Office, was examined and investigated; on May 8, Tao Hai, a former inspector of the Provincial People's Air Defense Office, was investigated.
Guan Has been working in the Provincial People's Air Defense Office since March 2012, and has successively served as a member of the party group, chief engineer, deputy director, etc. In December 2006, Tao Hai was transferred to the Provincial Civil Air Defense Office as a member of the party group and deputy director. In February 2017, Tao Hai was transferred to the provincial civil air defense office as an inspector and retired in July of the same year.
It can be seen that Li Yiming and Tao Hai served as members of the party group and deputy director of the Provincial People's Air Defense Office from December 2006 to April 2011.

In Li Yiming's resume, "Mao calligrapher" occupies an important position. In December 2008, Li Yiming successfully promoted to the "Top Ten" national Mao calligraphers and ranked first in the first national Mao calligrapher selection activity.
In December 2009, in order to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, Li Yiming was selected for his outstanding achievements in Mao calligraphy, jointly compiled and published by the Chinese Communist Party History Figures Research Association and the Institute of Journalism and Communication of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
In addition, Li Yiming is a member of the Anhui Writers Association.
In his early years, Li Yiming published literary works in Yangtze River Daily, People's Liberation Army Literature and Art, People's Liberation Army Daily, and Story Club. He also published The Mystery of the Green Tile Building, a collection of 250,000 words of literary stories published during his work in the army.
According to an interview with Li Yiming by the Anhui News Network in 2009, after changing careers to a local area, Li Yiming continued to engage in literary creation, and has published novels, stories, and reportages totaling more than 300,000 words.

In March this year, the Third Inspection Group of the Provincial Party Committee gave feedback on the inspection to the Party Group of the Provincial Civil Air Defense Office.
The inspection group pointed out that the Provincial People's Air Defense Office is not strong enough to comprehensively and strictly administer the party, and there are certain risks of honest administration and the "four winds" problem; there are shortcomings in the construction of the contingent of cadres and talents, and the party building work needs to be strengthened; and the rectification and reform of problems found by inspection and audit supervision is not in place. At the same time, the inspection group also received clues reflecting the problems of some leading cadres, which have been transferred to the relevant discipline inspection and supervision organs, organization departments, and other relevant departments for handling in accordance with regulations.
Since then, many people in the civil air defense system of Anhui Province have successively fallen. It can be seen that there are many "top leaders" among the officials who have fallen from their posts. For example, Hefei City, Bozhou City, and Anqing City all have the secretaries and directors of the party leading groups and directors of the Civil Air Defense Office who have fallen from power.

The article writes that the fact that many people in Anhui's civil air defense system have fallen from power is a phased result of the province's "big start" of the clues to the civil air defense department's problems since the Eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China, re-analyzing and judging the situation of letters and visits and reports involving the civil air defense departments, the handling of clues, and the handling of punishments, and adopting different forms to organize special supervision and inspection of the civil air defense departments.
In fact, the "big bottom" of the civil air defense system in Anhui Province is still continuing. On August 21, the Anhui Provincial Civil Air Defense Office issued a circular on the progress of inspection and rectification.
