At about 12:30 noon yesterday, after the ambulance pulling the siren arrived at the emergency area of Zhoushan Hospital, Ms. Shi, a cerebral hemorrhage patient from Shengsi Goji Island, was quickly sent to the emergency room for rescue. At this point, it was only 1 hour before she set off by helicopter from Goji Berry.

It is understood that at 5 o'clock in the morning yesterday, 63-year-old Ms. Shi suddenly suffered a cerebral hemorrhage and was in urgent need of treatment. However, affected by Typhoon Candu on the 14th, the wind and waves continued to increase, and the passenger ferry, the only means of transportation for the residents of Goji Berry Island out of the island, was completely suspended.

"After we received the application for medical emergency rescue from the islanders, we immediately conducted a docking assessment with Zhoushan Haifeng General Aviation, the operating company of the 'Island Express Bus' project, to determine the emergency rescue flight mission and implement the rescue flight at the first time." At the same time, 120 vehicles were coordinated to enter the airport and race against the clock to rescue patients. Wang Haifeng, manager of the operation support department of Zhoushan Putuoshan Airport, said that after the opening of the green channel for rescue support, at 11:02 on the same day, the CITIC Haizhi B7961 helicopter took off from Putuoshan Airport to Goji Berry Island; at 12:10, the helicopter that picked up the patient landed at Putuoshan Airport, and the 120 ambulance quickly transferred the patient to Zhoushan Hospital (see picture).

According to Qiu Huahui, deputy chief physician of the Department of Neurosurgery of Zhoushan Hospital, fortunately, the patient was sent in time, otherwise there was a danger to life. "When I first arrived, I was awake and my limbs could move, but the bleeding point was close to the brainstem, and the patient had a severe headache." He told reporters that at present, Ms. Shi still has potential risks, and after the cause is clarified, the hospital will carry out further treatment.
