What should I do if the cat is always in tears? This matter has already annoyed many shovelers!
Sometimes, the cat does something wrong slightly, and the shoveler's tone is a little harsher, and the cat begins to cry.
Even if the shoveler didn't do anything, he could suddenly see the cat looking at himself with tears in his eyes.
Even if someone thinks that the cat may have felt wronged at the beginning, the number of times is more, it is estimated that they can understand it.
But what is the case with cats always shedding tears?
First of all, the cat tears we are talking about are really tears, not some crystalline water stains that appear when they just wake up or have their eyes open for too long.
Cat eye structure: The structure of cat eyes is actually very complex, and there is a certain difference from other animals, which is why cats can see more clearly than other animals in dim environments.
The structure of the eyeball is composed of many layers of structures composed of a white sclera, a transparent cornea, and a unique retinal structure, which is composed of two layers of tissue: the cells of the light sensing layer are called rod cells and cone cells.
In addition, the velvet felt layer at the bottom of the cat's eyeball is extremely developed, so someone asked, the cat's eyes are so good, why is there a problem?
In fact, the more delicate the instrument, the more likely it is to malfunction, the reason for this is actually the same, the cat's light sensitivity is good, then this also means that the cat is more likely to be stimulated.
And cats shed tears under normal circumstances are probably three cases.
On the one hand, the cat is injured, whether it is bumping or bumping, after the pain nerve is stimulated, it will respond to the cat's brain to be hurt, and scientists have shown that pain tearing is reflex tearing tears contain less protein. Among these structurally complex proteins, one chemical that has been determined to be similar to analgesics is determined.
Therefore, cats will also cry when they eat pain, mainly because of the influence of nerve reflexes and body pain relief.
And the other two reasons, that is, the cat is affected by foreign bodies or odors, you should have seen the cat after eating peppers full of tears pictures, and the cat's eyes are stimulated by foreign bodies, such as eyelashes, etc., which will also lead to tears!
In addition to the tears under these three normal reactions, there are some situations that need to be paid attention to by the shovelers, because these situations may represent some problems with the cat's body!
After all, tearing is also a spontaneous and uncontrollable response of the body, and to some extent, it also reminds us of the health of the cat.
So what will happen when the cat begins to cry inexplicably?
1. The cat has tears.
Main causes: excessive tear secretion or obstruction of the tear ducts.
Symptoms: When the cat nasolacrimal duct is blocked, the tears secreted by the tear glands will slip from the corner of the cat's eyes, in normal cases, the tears secreted by the tear glands will be distributed by the blink and the third eyelid on the cornea can prevent the perspective membrane from drying and necrosis, and when there is a problem in this regard, the tears will overflow from the inner corner of the eye, so when the cat suddenly becomes Lin sister Generally has tears in the corners of the eyes every day, then the shoveler should pay attention to see if there is tear overflow.
2. Cats have conjunctivitis.
The main causes: there are many reasons for cats to be infected with conjunctivitis, and upper respiratory tract infection is the most common condition, followed by conjunctivitis caused by bacterial and viral infections, of course, like allergies, foreign bodies and trauma may also cause conjunctivitis.
Symptoms: To determine whether it is conjunctivitis, you only need to gently open the eyelids to see if the conjunctiva is red. The general symptoms are conjunctival redness and swelling, and cats and cats will have symptoms of squinting, photophobia, tearing, itching and scratching of the eyes, and pain.
3. The cat has a corneal ulcer.
Main causes: Trauma, viral, bacterial infection, decreased tear fluid, eyelid varrows, foreign bodies, or local irritation in cats can all lead to corneal ulcers.
Symptoms: Normal cornea is smooth and flat, if the cat's cornea appears uneven small area depression, and accompanied by squinting, lacrimation, photophobia, itching, scratching the eyes and other symptoms, then this is a corneal ulcer.
4. The cat has glaucoma.
Primary cause: When a cat has primary or secondary glaucoma, anterior atrial angle dysplasia is the most common cause of primary glaucoma, while other diseases may also induce glaucoma.
Symptoms: The aqueous humor filled in the eyeball is used to maintain the normal shape of the eye, but once the aqueous humor cannot be smoothly drained from the eye, it will cause an increase in intraocular pressure, enlargement of the eye, turbid cornea, melal sclerosus and other conditions. Acute glaucoma will have pain, eyelid spasms, tears and other conditions, if the pain is serious to cat howling, drowsiness, anorexia and other conditions, and even irreversible blindness will appear within 48 hours.
5. The cat has keratitis.
The main reason: long-term stimulation of foreign bodies, such as accidentally entering the hair, because the owner is careless, resulting in the eyes of the cat and cat being stimulated by foreign bodies for a long time, it is easy to become keratitis. In addition, long-term lack of water caused by fire is also one of the causes of keratitis. Eyelashes, trauma, eyelid varus or conjunctivitis can all cause inflammation of the cornea.
Manifestations: The cornea is normally a transparent tissue, and when the cornea is inflamed, it will change from full transparency to foggy. At the same time, cats will have symptoms such as squinting, tearing, photophobia, itching and scratching eyes, and pain.
And if the shoveler suddenly finds that the cat in his home has such a situation, then the shoveler should consider whether to choose a time to take the cat to the hospital to diagnose the specific situation.
After all, when the cat encounters the above five kinds of tears due to diseases, then it must be a simple home recuperation or simple treatment of the shoveler can not solve this problem!
On the one hand, it is extremely important to give the cat the most correct treatment for the specific situation of the cat, but in addition to this, the shoveler should also pay attention to one more.
That is, the owner should reasonably adjust some irritating things that the cat can contact, such as strong lights, chemicals, etc. that will cause damage to the eyes, if there is at home, then the impact of this should be avoided earlier.
