This incident actually happened on the 29th. According to the Liberty Times, a green media outlet in Taiwan Province, the PLA fighter jets entered the airspace of southwest Taiwan, and what was rarely recorded by the Taiwan Air Force was not "expelling the common plane," but being broadcast by the "common plane" first. The content is:
"Taiwan regional aircraft, Taiwan regional aircraft, I am the Chinese People's Liberation Army, you have endangered my flight safety, leave immediately, leave immediately!"

According to Taiwan media sources quoted by the Observer Network, Kuomintang Chairman Zhu Lilun revised the "Policy Program of the Chinese Kuomintang."

The proposition of Zhu Lilun's version of the new political platform is that the fundamental foundation and unchanging original intention of the Chinese Kuomintang is to be concerned about Taiwan's development, be kind to the people of the mainland, connect with the international community, and promote the ideal of a united world.
It is particularly emphasized that the Chinese Kuomintang will persist in opposing "Taiwan independence" and advocate that the two sides of the strait shelve the dispute and promote cross-strait exchanges in the spirit of "seeking common ground and respecting differences."
Of course, this is good news, but replacing the "three noes" with "seeking common ground and respecting differences" is actually an old bottle of old wine, and from another point of view, Zhu Lilun is even more cunning than Ma Ying-jeou.
What is called "seeking common ground and respecting differences" means that the mainland should respect Taiwan's "differences."
Where is Taiwan's "difference"? As a province of China, there is only one country, two systems, and there is no other "difference".
As a problem left over from history, from the current point of view, there is little hope for a peaceful settlement.
No matter what program you have, we have only one program: The two sides of the strait must be reunified, and Taiwan has only one choice, whether it is "one country, two systems" or "one country, one system."
Of course, the mainland will not place its hopes entirely on the Kuomintang, and will continue to accelerate the process of the reunification of the motherland with a sense of responsibility and mission that the time is not waiting for.
Reunification is the trend of the times, the aspiration of the people, and the great righteousness, and this is also the fundamental way out for Taiwan compatriots to always maintain peace and live and work in peace and contentment!

But no matter how the politician negates the "promise of some previous US politicians to defend Taiwan," we must not have too many illusions about the United States.
After all, this may be only the voice of a small group of people.
If you are not a mainstream voice, you may be overwhelmed by mainstream sound. Recently, however, Graham Allison, a professor of political science at the Harvard Kennedy School, said the United States must accept the reality that it no longer enjoys "military-led superiority" in the Western Pacific and face the "ugly" reality that it may lose to China in the Taiwan Strait conflict.
