Feel the magic of tidying up with your heart

Recently, I spent two weeks reading "The Magic of Life Tidying Up" with my partner. This book was something I always wanted to read, but I didn't open it because I didn't have time to read it. In fact, I am the person who is afraid of tidying up, one is that I will be reluctant to throw things, and the other is that I always feel that tidying up is a very troublesome thing. Therefore, when I saw the activity of reading this book together, I hoped to explore the mystery of collation with you.

Many people say that you have to sort out your mood before you can finish the real tidying up. In this co-reading, my biggest gain was to learn a kind of tidying concept - to be excited when buying things, and to say goodbye when you lose things.

In the past, when I always bought things, I didn't necessarily use them for myself, and I made myself excited, but I thought that this thing was more cost-effective or cheap, but after buying something back, I found that I had hoarded a lot of useless items. In this co-reading, I found that you can meditate on whether the object makes you feel excited, and the object that makes you want to use it all the time.

In the past, I was always reluctant to lose things, and I always felt that I would use them at some point, but in fact, these unused things were of no use to myself, and would only occupy a lot of space at home. In the co-reading I learned to say goodbye and then give or throw it away. Before throwing it away, thank him for the good old days he had with me. I found that with this farewell ceremony, I could make up my mind to give someone away or throw it away. It's not so much about saying goodbye to things as it is about having a conversation between yourself and your heart. After thanking these items in the conversation, you will be relieved, and then you can let go.

What I find hardest for me to tidy up is the phone. My phone often makes WeChat not work properly due to lack of space. I found it difficult to organize my phone because I thought it was too much trouble, and because I was reluctant to delete some photos and chat history. But a quote from a partner in the middle of the reading woke me up. She said that if there are too many things in the phone, it will make the phone very tired. Yeah, how did I not think of that before? If you compare a mobile phone to a person, there are too many things in it, and he will be very tired. So on the same day, I sorted out my phone, directed the photos to the computer for classification, and deleted all the useless apps and chat records.

I also learned a lot about organizing clothes, documents, and books. I think the most important thing I need to sort out is the book. I am a person who likes to hoard books very much, one is because I like to read books, and the other is because I feel that the book is bought, and the knowledge in it is my own. Although I haven't started sorting out the books yet, my idea is to buy my own exciting books when I buy them, and read them immediately after buying them, and find the points in the books that are useful to me to write or share by voice. Organize previous books and give away or sell unused books. I found that after the co-reading activity, the difficult task of sorting out the book became relatively simple. I also look forward to being able to use 1 to 2 days to sort out the books, so that there is more space in the home to hold the things that make me feel excited.

Thanks to the readers and the friends who read together, I opened another window of finishing, looking forward to my breakthrough in sorting.
