On the afternoon of the 13th, the Municipal Wildlife Conservation Association sent an oriental white stork rescued three months ago to the Municipal People's Park.

In January this year, this oriental white stork was temporarily landed in Qianshi Village, a border town in the old border area, due to wing injuries, and was found and reported by villagers. The Municipal Wildlife Conservation Association treated the situation as soon as it learned about the situation. After more than three months of meticulous care, the Oriental White Stork is now recovering well and has been able to walk freely. It is understood that the Oriental White Stork is a national first-class protected animal, and the number of populations in the world is about 3,000.
Che Hongxu, secretary general of the Municipal Wildlife Conservation Association, told reporters that although the wound on the wings of this oriental white stork has healed, its flight function cannot be restored as before, and it cannot return to nature normally. The staff of People's Park will provide it with an environment suitable for its living and habitat, and the Municipal Wildlife Conservation Association will continue to pay attention to the life and recovery of this oriental white stork.
Sent to People's Park with the Eastern White Stork was a grey-winged gull that was unable to fly due to a broken wing. The Municipal People's Park will provide professional rehabilitation treatment for them.
