More than 100 people from key catering enterprises, star-rated hotels, rural hotel managers and chefs in Tangshan city participated in the training activities.
Caofeidian is the famous "hometown of Chinese puffer fish", is the earliest place in China to cultivate redfin oriental pufferfish, and is also the world's largest redfin oriental pufferfish breeding base, with a breeding area of 19,000 mu, an annual output of 1150 tons of puffer fish, more than 80% of which are exported to Japan and South Korea. At present, 3 enterprises in Caofeidian District have obtained the filing qualification of the fish source base for breeding puffer fish, and 2 breeding puffer fish processing enterprises have passed the audit.
In recent years, caofeidian artificial breeding of oriental redfin dolphins by controlling the feeding species of puffer fish, so that puffer fish to reach the non-toxic level, can be safe and assured to eat. Puffer fish has become Caofeidian's "food business card". Relying on his extensive experience, chefs have produced a variety of puffer fish dishes such as puffer fish hot pot, puffer fish sashimi, puffer fish meat dumplings, and braised puffer fish. Caofeidian's puffer fish cuisine not only attracts more and more tourists from Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei to taste, but also exports to Japan and South Korea and other countries.
