On the streets of Manila, Catholic churches can be found everywhere. Not every one of them is golden, it may be a very humble chapel.

Before coming to Manila, one of the things I heard everyone talk about the most was traffic jams, some people said that Manila is the first traffic in Southeast Asia, and it is also a deep understanding to Manila. This is the neighborhood of the hostel where I stayed, every day from morning to night.
Manila has a small bus, which is a cute, very cartoonish minivan, which is generally seen in parks, but the streets of Manila are running.
There is also such an ordinary small bus, no matter what time it is crowded.
Manila is also a metropolis, and the Manila Metropolitan Area is second only to the Jakarta Metropolitan Area in Southeast Asia. Therefore, there are many high-rise buildings here.
When I went last year, it was just the Spring Festival in China, and many shopping malls in the Philippines hung lanterns. There are also many Filipino Chinese, although there are not as many Malaysian Chinese and Indonesian Chinese as there are.
But the most interesting thing is its small streets, and the atmosphere of life. Generally speaking, many cities with high-rise buildings are relatively less pyrotechnic. But Manila is not, filipinos love to eat, drink and love to sing is world famous.
A snack street on the street side of Manila, I happen to live nearby, go to eat every day, it is basically Filipino specialty food, very tasty, especially the above ground pork rice.
Moreover, the place to eat has band performances every day and is free to watch.
Street poles plastered with small advertisements.
A little boy selling things on the street.
Like every big city in Southeast Asia, Manila is a place with a huge gap between rich and poor, and I happened to see this scene on the road. The little boy who was naked slept casually on the dirty side of the road, looking very uncomfortable, but he couldn't do anything.
Manila's rail transit, which covers a small area in the main city, is mainly used to connect the various parts of the Manila Metropolitan Circle.
The manila stuff is really tasty and life is very comfortable, except that transportation is extremely difficult. There are no buses that can be found on the map, and in addition to the locals who know how to take the bus, other foreign tourists come here with a confused face. The best means of transportation is only motorcycles, but Manila also stipulates that foreigners are not allowed to ride motorcycles here, so only motorcycles are allowed. But Manila's motorcycle Didi software is doing a terrible job, and it is normal not to be able to call a motorcycle in half an hour.
In Manila, tourists including me, share a black memory of traffic.
Manila spent a few days preparing to go to Cebu, only to encounter an eruption of the Taal Volcano. It was the largest volcanic eruption in the world last year. The volcano is not far from Manila, causing manila airports to be closed for several days, and many places are covered with volcanic ash, making it impossible to go out. In this way, my trip to Cebu was ruined, and I could only save it for the next time.
To sum up, in addition to the traffic, Manila is really very good, Filipinos are warm and friendly, none of the Filipino friends I know are that kind of twisting, afraid of this and that, everyone will open their hearts and make friends with you at the first time, I don't know if this is the relationship between Filipino culture. The food is also excellent, and the beaches in the Philippines are claimed to be the most beautiful in Southeast Asia. However, Cebu can only save until the next time.
