Zhidan County is located in the hilly and gully area of the Loess Plateau in northern Shaanxi Province
The geographical location is between 108°11′56"~109°3′48", 36°21′23"~37°11′47".
It is bordered by Ansai County to the east of the northern latitude, Wuqi and Jingbian Counties to the northwest, Ganquan and Fu Counties to the southeast, and Heshui County and Huachi County of Gansu Province to the southwest.

Liu Zhidan Martyrs Cemetery
Liu Zhidan Martyrs Cemetery is located in Baoan Town, where Zhidan County is located, sitting north and south, with an area of 33,000 square meters. The whole cemetery building is full of national characteristics and solemn.

The site of the Security Revolution
The site of the Bao'an Revolution, located at the foot of the North Fortress In present-day Zhidan County, Shaanxi Province, was the seat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China from July 3, 1936 to January 10, 1937. After Chairman Mao Zedong of the CPC Central Committee came to Zhidan, local residents took the initiative to vacate it for them to live and work. Yongning Mountain
Yongning Mountain is located in Yongning Town, Zhidan County, on the east side of the Luo River, on the other side of the Mouth of the Kunzi River, at an altitude of 1312 meters, east-west direction, 2.2 kilometers long and 1.5 kilometers wide, all red sand and stone, the mountain beam protrudes from the Luo River, the Luoshui river surrounds the east, west and south sides, the mouth is majestic and independent, the cliff is cliffy, and it was built as an ancient village for crime prevention as early as the Song Dynasty. The village is divided into three layers, the upper level is majestic on the top of the abrupt mountain, the middle layer is slightly inclined very steep, the lower level of the Tongluo River is for drinking, it can accommodate a thousand people, the Qing Dynasty ruled the four chaos, avoided hundreds of households, relied on natural danger, and could not conquer for a long time. According to the "Chronicle of Baoan County", before the Song Dynasty, its mountain was stone according to the quality of the mountain, resembling a building, and there was a platform on it, and it was named "Stone Loutai", and later generations built ancient villages to avoid war and chaos by virtue of its natural dangers, and the indigenous people thought that "eternal tranquility", it was also called Yongning Mountain. Before liberation, it once became the seat of the Republic of China government in Bao'an County. In August of the sixteenth year of the Republic of China (1927), the county magistrate He Yaowu inscribed four large characters of "LuoshangQi Peak" on the west side of the mountain, which was 1 meter wide and 4 meters long, and the font was vigorous and powerful. Yongning Mountain Gaoxiao was once the alma mater of General Liu Zhidan and the birthplace of the earliest party branch in the county.
Panlong Temple Stone Pagoda
Panlong Temple Stone Pagoda, Shaanxi Province key cultural relics protection unit. It is located in the ruins of Panlong Temple in the southeast of Miaocha Village, Zhidan County, northwest of Yan'an City. It was built in the eleventh year of Ming Chenghua (1475). The tower is six-sided, all made of granite layers, with a total of seven floors and a height of 5.73 meters, except for the tower seat. The tower seat is a relief of the lotus petal-shaped tunic. The lower part of each floor of the seven-story tower is decorated with two-tier relief lotus petals, and the hexagonal cornices of each floor are embossed with monster animal heads. The six faces of the second-floor pagoda are carved with peonies, shrines and Buddha statues. There is a shrine on each of the six faces of the third, fourth and fifth floors, and a seated Buddha is engraved inside. The six faces of the sixth and seventh floors are separated by a buddha shrine carved on one side, a seated Buddha inside, and the other three faces are plain planes. The pagoda brake consists of a four-layer orb shape and a four-sided pyramid brake tip, and the third layer of orbs is carved with three layers of reliefs decorated with lotus petals.
Former site of the Chinese Anti-Japanese Red Army University
The former site of the Chinese Anti-Japanese Red Army University is located at the southern end of Zhidan County. Classrooms, sentries, and office kilns are carved along the red stone cliffs, and the terrain is steep and hidden, which is breathtaking and can also be defended. There are still the former residences of the former principal, Luo Ruiqing, the education chief, and others, and the "open-air lecture hall" under the big poplar tree. Jiuwu Mountain (Matou Mountain)
Jiuwushan Forest Park is located in Sunshuping Village, Yongning Town, 40 kilometers southeast of Zhidan County.
In 2005, after the formal investigation and determination, Zhidan County organized relevant experts and scholars to analyze and demonstrate, and initially determined that the imaging era should be the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, which is the only such sculpture known at present, the seated statue is rare in the country, the first case in our province, for the study of ancient religion, ethnic integration, cultural relics protection and medicine in the earliest dry corpse treatment and natural science have important value.
At the same time, Jiuwu Mountain was also one of the red base areas in northern Shaanxi during the Great Revolution, which was once an arsenal built by General Liu Zhidan and an important military base of the Red Army in northern Shaanxi, which played a huge role in the revolutionary years.
