Square Enix today (March 3) unveiled the latest batch of game screenshots and intelligence for final fantasy 7 remake transitions on the PS5 platform, showing players enhanced lighting, textures, fog effects, and a new and additional Yuffie story chapter.
In Final Fantasy VII Remake Transition, Square Enix improved lighting in the game's wilds and towns; the fog effect was enhanced to give Midgar a more realistic sense of atmosphere; and some textures were resolved to make the game world more detailed.
Final Fantasy VII Remastered Transition Edition's newly added Yuffie story is divided into two chapters, in which Yuffie blocks the Joint Avalanche and steals the Ultimate Magic Stone from Shinra Corporation. Players can use Yuffie's shuriken to destroy distant items or activate traps in the scene. The Japanese Yuffie voice is voiced by Yumi Kasu.
Final Fantasy VII Remastered Transition Edition is scheduled to be released on June 10, landing on the PS4 and PS5 platforms, and The Yophie Story is exclusive to the PS5 platform. Final Fantasy VII Remake Transition Edition is a free upgrade for users of the original PS4 version (100 yen for Japanese users).
