"The sea and the sky, remember that I am a warrior of justice!" Yesterday, a manuscript of the anti-war song "Meng" composed by Zhao Liangzhang, a heroic martyr of Yuhua and lyrics by his friend Xue Jiemin, reappeared after more than 70 years of ups and downs. This is the only manuscript of the two martyrs' cooperative songs collected by the Yuhuatai Martyrs Memorial Hall, and is an important discovery of revolutionary cultural relics. On the morning of the same day, in the misty drizzle, Xue Renwang, the son of martyr Xue Jiemin, and daughter-in-law Li Li came to the Yuhuatai Martyrs' Cemetery and solemnly bowed three times in front of the tombstone of martyr Zhao Liangzhang and offered flowers. They also brought with them a precious manuscript, the League, which was donated to the Yuhuatai Martyrs' Memorial Hall.

The reporter saw that the manuscript was copied with a black pen on a yellowed letterhead. The song is vivid and delicate, through the voice of a couple, describing the feelings of home and country of the anti-Japanese fighters. The lyrics read: "By the river, don't forget that I am an innocent girl; the sea and the sky, remember that I am a heroic warrior." Hand in hand, life and death together, love in the spring..."

The upper right corner of the manuscript indicates "Zhao Ye Xuequ", "My Words" and "Jiang Pingzhong Singing". "Wild Snow" is Zhao Liangzhang's pen name, Jiang Pingzhong is Zhao Liangzhang's wife, and "I" is Xue Jiemin himself. "This manuscript was written by my father-in-law, Xue Jiemin. It was he who found it when we were sorting out the relics after his sacrifice. Li Li said.

This precious manuscript also solves an unsolved mystery that has not been solved for more than 70 years. In the original songs of Zhao Liangzhang Martyrs, the frequently appearing lyricist "Haiyan" is his classmate and friend, the latent hero Xue Jiemin Martyr.

Zhao Liangzhang is a famous yuhua hero, a native of Nanjing Liuhe. Zhao Liangzhang served as a pilot in the 11th Brigade of the Kuomintang Air Force. In the winter of 1946, Zhao Liangzhang joined the Communist Party of China and became an underground party member. He was in the Tiger's Den, collected important information about the Kuomintang air force, and handed it over to the Communists. On the evening of September 18, 1947, Zhao Liangzhang was arrested by the Kuomintang Secrecy Bureau. In October 1948, the 27-year-old Zhao Liangzhang bravely became righteous.

Zhao Liangzhang is very talented in music, and when he studied at Nanjing No. 5 Middle School, he was a campus singer. When combing through Zhao Liangzhang's posthumous works, the Yuhuatai Martyrs Memorial Hall found that among the more than 10 songs he composed, 8 of the songwriters were "Haiyan". In addition to the famous "If I Sacrifice for the Truth", there are 7 songs such as "Guerrilla March", "The Closer We Get to Spring", "A Lotus Leaf and a Drop of Dew", "Snowflakes Fluttering", "Goose Bus", "Catch the Enemy Before Shooting", "The Sky on Summer Night Is Like the Ocean" and so on. The lyrics of "Haiyan" are vivid and vivid, and Zhao Liangzhang's composition is a perfect match. These songs were born during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, more than 70 years ago.

However, the identity of the "Petrel" has always been a mystery. On July 1 last year, the Yuhuatai Martyrs Memorial Hall issued a proposal to sing the original songs of heroic martyrs, and launched the "Cloud Singing" activity across the country. In the promotion of the activity, the teachers and students of Mochou Lake Primary School searched for historical materials in many ways, and finally unveiled the mystery from a book called "White Pigeon Mulan" published by Sanlian Bookstore in December last year: "Haiyan" is the latent hero Xue Jiemin.

"White Pigeon Mulan" is exactly what Li Li wrote. "My mother-in-law collected 60 family letters written to her by her father-in-law, and her father-in-law also left many diaries and manuscripts. I spent twenty or thirty years combing through these relics, looking up historical materials in many ways, and writing this book in honor of my in-laws. Li Li said that the father-in-law Martyr Xue Jiemin was a classmate of Zhao Liangzhang at the Air Force Non-Commissioned Officer School during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. In his diary, Xue Jiemin wrote under the pseudonym "Xue Haiyan" that "walking forward with the blood of comrade martyrs!" A glorious death is an eternal life. In the manuscript of "Meng", it is also confirmed that he is the "partner" who created songs with Zhao Liangzhang.

Like Zhao Liangzhang, Xue Jiemin also wrote "Sacrifice for the Truth" with his life. Xue Jiemin and Yao Mingzhu are both underground members of the CCP. After 1949, he went to Taiwan and continued to engage in underground revolutionary work. The latter two were arrested for betrayal by traitors and killed in 1963. In 2013, the two were posthumously recognized as revolutionary martyrs with the approval of the Ministry of Civil Affairs.

"'League' is the 9th song discovered, co-authored by the two martyrs Zhao Liangzhang and Xue Jiemin, and is a major discovery in the collection of revolutionary cultural relics in our museum." Wen Huibin, director of the Cultural Relics Museum Division of the Yuhuatai Martyrs Cemetery Administration, said.

On the same day, Xue Renwang and his wife also rushed to Mochou Lake Primary School. When I heard the children sing the songs of their fathers with their young songs, the professor of Stanford University School of Medicine in the United States burst into tears, "I only knew that my father was a martyr, I didn't know that he was still such a talented man, and he had written so many revolutionary songs with martyr Zhao Liangzhang." We hope that more people will hear the songs of the two martyrs and pass on the heroic spirit from generation to generation. ”
