At 9 o'clock in the morning, we gathered in Shiguan New Village (No. 128 bus terminal), the leader did the requirements of mountain discipline, environmental protection requirements, fire safety, etc., after the explanation, the team set off, Swallow Fei led the way in front, Lang Xingtianxia in the middle and indirect response, Xu Biao in the back to close the team, the team forward orderly, the hiking trip smoothly and perfectly, there are many surprises.
We take the Shiguan New Village Small Ring Road, the starting point and end point are Shiguan New Village, even climbing The Sky Ridge, WildCat Mountain, passing through the Big Whistle Village, The Little Whistle Village, returning to Shiguan Village at 16:30 to end the activity, the mobile phone software records the walking distance of 19 kilometers.

The first line of Skyscraper Ridge and Wildcat Mountain is a classic route that is very familiar to outdoor donkeys in Kunming, which is a continuous mountain with a high altitude in the northern part of Kunming. On this trip, we first climbed The Sky Ridge, then went up Wildcat Mountain, and finally returned to Shiguan New Village, taking a counterclockwise loop.
Try a new route of Skyscraper Ridge, the stream is muddy, the greenery is deep, and you are tired of climbing, but you enjoy it.
We have walked through the Skyscraper Ridge many times, but each time the way we walk is different, and the scenery we encounter in different seasons is also wonderful. This trip takes a new route, from the DazhaZhen Reservoir up the mountain and climbing the Skyscraper Ridge.
We climbed along a clear mountain stream. This is the local people into the mountains and back water trail, the altitude rises and falls very quickly, the mountain water, the stream and spring, walking in between, is very enjoyable, walking a little tired, the scenery in the field of vision is very beautiful.
Not far from Shiguan New Village, the Dazha Reservoir at the foot of the mountain is small in scale, and its name cannot be found on the map. Before we walked to the reservoir, we saw its name, which almost made us pronounce it "hairy crab", but it was also vivid, allowing us to remember this small reservoir where mountain springs converge.
This is a small reservoir with a water storage capacity of 30,000 square meters, the main water source is floodwater, which comes from the mountain wilderness, and a small ditch tens of centimeters wide naturally flows down the mountain and flows into the reservoir.
The amount of water in the ditch this season is abundant, flowing continuously, over the stones, across the high platform, making a loud sound of water, visually measuring the river is very clear, the riverbed is clearly visible, and the river stone is covered with moss.
We climbed and climbed up the hill along the path on the shore of the ditch, and met many backwater people who were walking in the opposite direction of us. They used a back basket, a small cart, a back to pack a lot of containers filled with water, large mineral water bottles, bottled water bottles and the like, two bottles, three bottles, the number is not equal, the containers are filled with water...
After a few words, I knew that they went to the mountain spring water outlet to get mineral water, carried it home to drink, drank tea, and cooked tea. Old Kunming likes to go to the mountains to get mineral water is a long-standing tradition, we know that there are many backwater people in The West Mountain and Myoko Temple, I didn't expect that there was such a place at the foot of the Sky Ridge Mountain.
The trail we take is the route that the backwater people often take, perhaps the path they have opened up. The trail is not wide, allowing only one person to pass, and winds and winds along the shore of the ditch.
Taking such a trail shortens the distance up the mountain a lot, but the difficulty increases a lot, the altitude rises rapidly, the difficulty of climbing increases, and after a while, we are breathless and sweaty... With the smell of grass after the rain, the road meets fresh and chic purple flowers, tired and enjoyed, this is the unique experience of climbing and climbing.
After passing the test of "getting off the horse" of the backwater trail, we walked to the side of the Skyscraper Fire Road. After waiting for the teammates, the team leader led everyone into another mountain road, looking at the red road signs on the road, they knew that this was part of the "Kunming Chang worm mountain 7+5 cross-country running race" track, leading to one of the "7+5" skyscrapers.
Speaking of "7+5", Kunming donkey friends all know that it is the sport of outdoor gods, and the people who can complete it are relatively strong outdoor masters. We walked up to a "7+5" to experience the fun of off-roading and imagine the rush of people, which is also a different experience.
The road to the top of the skyscraper is not easy, here the mountains are continuous, a mountain is connected to a mountain, several meters wide fire passage connects the mountains, winding, red dirt road embedded in the green carpet between the mountains, far away is very good-looking, but it is a little difficult to walk, up the mountain, down the mountain have to be careful.
Recently, the weather in Kunming has been cloudy and sunny, unpredictable, just after a shower of rain, the mountain road is somewhat wet, but not muddy, there are a lot of gravel on the road, you have to be careful to be down-to-earth... When we climbed the Skyscraper Ridge, accompanied by a gust of fresh wind, the distant city of Quemo could see everything, and there was a breeze and a slight fragrance of flowers, and the previous hardships and entanglements had long been left behind. Take a photo in front of the Stone Monument of Skyscraper Ridge and tell it that we have come again, the same goal, different experiences, very good.
Wild Grass Mountain? Wildcat Mountain? The second time we reached the summit, we remembered what it looked like.
Among the mountaineering routes that Kunming donkey friends like, there is a saying of "60 peaks", which refers to the mountain routes suitable for climbing around Kunming City, and Skyscraper Ridge and Wildcat Mountain are two of them.
Among them, there are more climbs to the Skyscraper, but the Wildcat Mountain rarely goes, and the impression is that I have walked from the side of the mountain several times, and the number of times I have climbed to the top is countless, and I have long since lost the impression, thinking that we have not been there.
Leaving Skyscraper Ridge, we continue north, arriving at the foot of Wildcat Mountain to rest for lunch, where the iconic microwave station at Wildcat Peak is clearly visible. We had a road meal in a pine forest, everyone freely combined, three or three two gathered together, tasting, sharing the food they brought, mooncakes are very seasonal, there are many varieties of fruits, everyone eats while chatting, happy.
The weather in the morning is mainly cloudy, from time to time there is also the sun, people are happy, we are secretly glad that God took good care of us, lunch break deliberately found an open place to enjoy the sun, the previously wet umbrella to dry ...
We had eaten, we were replenishing some fruit to accompany the meal, but we heard a noise from far and near, the open umbrella rustled, it turned out to be raindrops falling, quickly opened the umbrella, raincoat, the unpacked backpack, items under the umbrella ...
Raindrops hit the ground, splashed small mud droplets, bounced up, higher and higher, slowly, splashed up the water droplets into white water jets, the rain in the ears became louder and louder, the raindrops smashed on the umbrella surface, instantly became countless splashes, inevitably sprinkled on our faces, hands; water droplets smashed on the ground Splashed mud flowers wet pants, white rain mist mist blindfolded eyes, the sound of rain echoing in the ears ... We experienced a unique storm.
The powerful showers came and went quickly, and after a few minutes of showers, everyone was a little embarrassed, and the leader beckoned everyone to quickly pack their bags, set off immediately, and continue to move forward.
Along the mountain trail, we headed towards the summit of Wildcat Mountain. Wildcat Mountain is generally gentle, but the altitude is not low, higher than the Skyscraper, the data shows that its altitude is 2589 meters, the Skyscraper is 2428 meters. The mountain of Wildcat Mountain is covered with green grass, and there are many strange shapes and stones of different sizes hidden in it, and we have to be very careful when walking in it.
At the top of the hill is a microwave station, surrounded by walls and gates, and it is not known whether the equipment is in use. Outside the microwave station, there is an open meadow with strange rocks, a white flower swaying in the wind on the hillside, and the familiar picture reminds us of the time we have been here, and the scenery of the summit of Wildcat Mountain a few years ago comes to mind.
I have always thought that this place is called Wild Mao Mountain, remember the sign of the microwave station is also such a mark, thinking that it is the deep thatch here and got its name; friends say that this place is called Wildcat Mountain, perhaps the shape of the mountain is like a wild cat, after all, Kunming has a lot of mountain naming is related to the mountain shape, Long Worm Mountain, Elephant Mountain are such a type; listen to friends, carefully look at the map, only to know that the name here is called "Wild Cat Mountain"... The second time we reached the summit, we remembered what it looked like.
The small wild flowers in the mountains that cannot be named bloom beautifully, flash with innocent brilliance, fresh and wonderful appearance, bring us a beautiful experience, beautiful.
This is the first time I have met a small flower, I don't know its name. Like a small upside-down lantern, delicate and bright.

In the rainy weather, we took the Shiguan New Village small ring road, climbed the sky ridge, climbed the wild cat mountain, encountered several showers, took some twists and turns, but enjoyed a different kind of scenery, rain washed, air permeable, wildflowers gorgeous, clouds rising, walking in between, fresh and pleasant, a different experience in the journey, beautiful.
