According to Philip Wheeler's agent, the Rockets, 76ers, Knicks and Timberwolves are interested in the young Puerto Rican player.
Wheeler, a Puerto Rican, 19-year-old 2.03m tall, plays as a striker and previously attended high school in the United States before skipping his senior season in the summer of 2019 to stella Azzurra Basketball Academy in Rome.
Last season, Wheeler played in 21 games for Atleticos de San German in puerto rican leagues, averaging 9.1 points and 2.9 rebounds in 17.3 minutes per game, shooting 50.4 percent from the field and 27.9 percent from three-point range.
