Martin Garrix ,formerly known as Martijn Gerard Garritsen," born on 14 May 1996 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, is a Dutch DJ and music producer who graduated from Hermann-yyoke.
In 2012, Martin Garris signed to Spiny Records in the Netherlands and released the unmanned acoustic single Error 404. In June 2013, the House Electronic Music single "Animals" was released, which entered the top ten of the music charts in more than a dozen countries. In April 2014, the first mini-album "Gold Skies" was released. In October 2015, Martin Garys won the MTV Europe Music Awards for "Best Electronic Artist". In October 2016, it was selected as the first of the top 100 DJs by DJ Mag, becoming the youngest 100 DJs after the magazine was founded. In November of the same year, he won the "Best Electronic Music Artist" award at the MTV European Music Awards again. In October 2017, it won the first place in the top 100 DJs. In February 2018, he brought a performance at the closing ceremony of the PyeongChang Winter Olympics. In October 2018, it won the first place in the top 100 DJs for three consecutive years. In October 2019, he was selected as the second place in the top 100 DJs by DJ Mag, and on November 3, he won the MTV Europe Music Award for Best Electronic Music.
Martin Garris began singing on his guitar at the age of four, and at the age of eight, inspired by the Opening Ceremony performance of the Olympic Games by Dutch DJ Tiasto, began saving money and buying his own DJ sound equipment. In February 2013, Dutch singer Sidney Samson contributed to Martin's song "Torrent"; in June, he released the Bigroom-style House electronic music work "Animals", which entered the top ten of the music charts in more than a dozen countries.[1] In November, he joined the "Scout Braun Project" curated by DJ Scout Braun, and in December, he released the collaborative single "Wizard" with Jay Hardway.

In March 2016, Martin Garris founded his own label, STAMPED RCRDS (Stampede Records),[19] and in July, released the Future Bass-style song "In The Name Of Love" sung by Bibi Rexa,[20] and became the first of DJ Mag's top 100 DJs, becoming the youngest 100 DJs.[1] On October 28, His third mini-album, Seven, was released, featuring seven electronic music titles, including Make Up Your Mind,[21] and on November 7, he won the MTV Europe Music Awards for Best Electronic Artist.
In January 2017, the Future Bass-style single "Scared to Be Lonely" was released by British singer Dua Lipa, and on April 14, the China exclusive edition of the select album "The Martin Garrix China Ulitimate Collection" was released through Tencent Music Entertainment Group.[22] On May 1, he came to Shanghai to participate in the Sunset Spring Wave Electric Syllable Festival in Shanghai.[23] Gehres won the first place in the top 100 DJs.
