According to The Athletic reporter Shams Charania, multiple sources revealed that The University of Memphis head coach Anfenni Hardaway has been interviewed for the Magic coach position and is regarded as one of the candidates for serious consideration.
As a player, Anfenni Hardaway played for the Magic from 1993 to 1999, and Hardaway was named to the All-Star four times and the All-Team team twice in his career.
