Barcelona reportedly want to sign Ferran Torres from Manchester City, although this summer's offer was rejected.

They had previously hoped to loan Espanyol and promised a permanent move, but the idea was laughed off by Guardiola and The Manchester City hierarchy. The former Valencia player was not the team's main player last season, but he has already impressed Pep Guardiola.
This season, the 21-year-old has played a more important role, scoring 3 goals in all competitions so far. While that could make it harder for Barcelona to complete the transfer, it doesn't seem to have made them give up trying.
Their plan is to reintroduce the striker during the summer transfer window, whom the Catalan giants' new chief executive, Matu Almani, knew well when he was in Mestara.
This is considered particularly important because Barcelona's squad currently needs to increase their offensive capabilities, with Lionel Messi going to Paris Saint-Germain in the summer and then Antoni Griezmann leaving camp Nou to join Atletico Madrid.
Given their financial difficulties, it will be interesting to see how Barca plan this transfer after two consecutive draws with bottom-ranked side La Liga on Thursday.
