In 1958, Jinan Normal College was established, in 1959 the resources of Taishan University (preparing) were incorporated, in 1962 it was rebuilt as Tai'an Teachers' Training School, in 1964 it was upgraded to Tai'an Half-work and Half-study Teachers College, and in 1971 it was changed to Tai'an Normal College. In 1999, Tai'an Education College, Taishan Township Enterprise Staff University, Shandong Radio and Television University Tai'an Branch, and Shandong Tai'an Normal School were merged, which greatly enhanced the strength of Tai'an Normal College and rich discipline construction.
