Two of my favorite 007 books are Love from Russia and Casino Royale. These two books can be said to be the two extremes of the series.
"Love from Russia", starring Sean Connery, is a model of the dashing and amorous Yushu Linfeng 007.
Faced with the trap set by the other female agent, Bond uses his unique "personality charm" to reverse his pajamas, which is almost every man's ultimate spring dream.
Perhaps because of international relations and commercial considerations, the film added 007's old friend Ghost Party as a behind-the-scenes black, appropriately diluting the Cold War conflict. In the original novel, From Russia With Love is a pure conspiracy of Soviet espionage. Bond's "rebellion" is even more spiritual. In the context of the "Soviet Offensive and American Defense" at that time, this was simply a collective carnival of suppressed Western men. No wonder he is one of President Kennedy's favorite novels.
Again, Daniela Bianchi's beauty is truly stunning.
As Craig's first 007 work, Casino Royale is a different path. The Cold War has passed for so many years, and then shooting according to the cool film routine of the past is a bit outdated. At this stage of the film series, the director also hopes to dig out something deeper. So Craig starred in several 007 films, the story has continuity, more performance of Bond's emotions and inner struggles, discussing the original intention of MI6 and the effect of action and other topics.
The casino royal novel is about James Bond, who has just been promoted to Agent 00, who is immature and makes mistakes. In the movie, he was calculated in gambling because of his arrogance and almost died. The scene where life is hanging in the balance shows the side of the Bond people.
And the emotional entanglement with Linde, and the struggle between trust and betrayal, is even more heartbreaking. The Bond of this one is no longer the god of the game world, who is always heavy.
Plus, routine Eva Green is really good-looking.
Finally, I still have to spit out a sentence of "No time to die". I'm looking forward to Daniel Craig's James Bond's curtain call, not James Bond's! I can't accept the next 007, the main character is not called James Bond!
