Taking advantage of this holiday, I finally finished reading the Japanese version of "Little Forest" that I had in mind.
There is no ups and downs of the storyline, no conflicts and contradictions, but it is a very comfortable film.
"Little Forest" is divided into summer, autumn and winter and spring, and the story tells the story of the protagonist Ichiko, in order to escape from reality, returns from the city to the countryside and lives a self-sufficient life in the harsh nature.
The protagonist is somewhat similar to "Li Ziqi", but Li Ziqi is accompanied by his grandmother, while Ichiko is only himself, and one person has three meals and four seasons.

Komori, a village where Ichiko lives, is surrounded by mountains and is a lonely village with no shops, and it takes nearly 3 hours to get to the nearest supermarket.
The wooden house where Ichiko lives is also a very lonely house, hidden in the mountains and forests, and there are no other neighbors around.
But fortunately, the house is a city, and she still has her own fields and land.
The whole film is about what to eat every day in each season, and in order to eat this food, how Ichiko sows, cultivates, fertilizes, catches insects, harvests, stores, and then makes a delicious dish.
When making each delicacy, some memories of Ichiko and her mother are interspersed, and they are also explaining Ichiko's life.
Every dish Ichiko makes imitates the taste of her mother, and Ichiko wants to say goodbye to her mother.
Compared with the complex cities, rural life is simple but more fulfilling.
Occasionally, a small partner will come to accompany the city, help with the work, and then taste the food made by the city.
This kind of life seems very comfortable, but the city is still lonely.
But who isn't lonely? People are born lonely.
On the other side of seemingly hard work, it is the courage of Ichiko who does not dare to face life.
