On September 29, at the Longxinyuan Aquaculture Cooperative in Xinhu Farm, Chen Xiaolong, chairman of the aquaculture cooperative, was busy salvaging crabs, weighing, and sub-packing and selling.
Xinhu Farm Longxinyuan Aquaculture Cooperative breeds an area of 445 mu, mainly breeding crucian carp, silver carp, common carp and other conventional fish species. Since 2015, in order to further expand the breeding species and optimize the breeding structure, the Chinese velvet crab has been introduced for breeding. Crabs mainly rely on reeds, fish, shrimp to grow up, eat very good taste, by Xinhu Farm and Shihezi, Changji and other surrounding diners welcome.
Chen Xiaolong has been engaged in aquatic products for more than ten years. In May this year, Chen Xiaolong released more than 60,000 crab seedlings into two crab farming ponds. After several months of breeding, the crab matured and went on the market, starting to sell from mid-September, quickly becoming popular in the market, selling more than a ton in half a month.
