Beekeepers call the police
Honey was stolen and surveillance was destroyed
Uncle Meng, who lives in Huashigou Village, Hanwang Town, Mianzhu City, Deyang, breeds bees on the mountain. Recently, he discovered that honey had been stolen from the farm and that the monitoring lines installed had been damaged. At about 8 p.m. on August 17, Uncle Meng rushed to the Hanwang Branch of the Mianzhu City Public Security Bureau to report to the police.
After receiving the alarm from Uncle Meng, the police immediately rushed to the scene to investigate. "At that time, we found that there were many dismantled beehives piled up on the ground, and there were some teeth bite marks on the wooden boards, which were initially determined to be the work of wild animals." That night, the rainstorm in the mountains poured down, the fog was continuous, and it was impossible to get more useful clues, so the police decided to re-investigate the scene the next day.
Retrieval monitoring
The video captures the crime process of "Xiong Da"
At 8:00 a.m. on August 18, the police rushed to Uncle Meng's farm again to investigate.
"Honey has been stolen by black bears before, and I suspect it was a 'good thing' this time. But this time the monitoring line was also damaged, I don't know if it was man-made, so I called the police. After listening to Uncle Meng's story, the police retrieved the surveillance video.
"Although the line was damaged, the early surveillance footage is still there." Through repeated inspections, the police found that the "thief" was a black bear. Uncle Meng, who learned the truth, cried and laughed.
Surveillance footage shows that at 3:24 a.m. on August 16, a black bear climbed from the mountain to Uncle Meng's farm, put its front paws on the beehive, and licked the honey in the hive while looking around. As if unfinished, the black bear simply dragged the hive to the ground and enjoyed it slowly.
After that, the gluttonous "bear big" caused sabotage and bit off the surveillance line.

Monitoring records the black bear's "crime" process.
"The black bear is a protected animal, and even if it steals honey, I can't hurt it." Uncle Meng introduced, he counted, the destroyed beehive has 24 barrels.
In recent years, Mianzhu City, located in the Giant Panda National Park, has further improved its ecological protection mechanism and provided good conditions for the reproduction of many rare wild animals. Black bears roam freely, demonstrating the effectiveness of conservation.
The police remind the general public that while protecting themselves, they must also protect wild animals and the ecological environment.
