Jiang Tiemin: Young people were sacrificed in the suppression of bandits

According to Xinhua News Agency (reporter Qiu Bingqing), whenever there is a Qingming Dynasty, Jiang Rongfa will bring his whole family to yushan cemetery together to pay homage to his father Jiang Tiemin.

Jiang Tiemin was born in 1916 in Yixing, Jiangsu Province. In 1937, when the National War of Resistance broke out, Jiang Tiemin, who was only 21 years old, changed his original name from "Jiang Hongru" to "Jiang Tiemin", showing his iron determination to resist the war.

In 1939, Jiang Tiemin joined the Communist Party of China and later served as the secretary of the Party Branch of Jiagongshan. He actively participated in the War of Resistance and arrested the Japanese traitors. In 1942, Jiang Tiemin joined the army when Zhu Lian's troops were stationed in Jiang Wei, and later served as the third leader of the Wujin guerrilla detachment. He broke through the enemy and puppet forces in the Fufeng area to build a dam at the river fortress, mobilized the masses, and insisted on transporting military food to support the front line.

After the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, the Ruling Clique of the Kuomintang acted perversely in an attempt to launch a civil war to eliminate the revolutionary forces and seize the fruits of the victory of the War of Resistance. In view of this, the CPC Central Committee decided to readjust the strategic layout and implement the strategic principle of "developing to the north and defending to the south." In accordance with the central deployment, the main force moved north. Jiang Tiemin stayed in Jiangnan according to the organizational arrangements and engaged in underground work. Later, he was arrested by the Kuomintang at that time and imprisoned in Yixing and persecuted. After being rescued by the guarantee, Jiang Tiemin continued to persist in propagating the ideas of the Communist Party of China and the victory results to the kiln factory workers and the slum masses in Nanjing, Shanghai and other places.

In May 1949, Jiang Tiemin was appointed as an officer of the Fangqiao Police Station of the Yixing County Public Security Bureau, responsible for maintaining local security. On November 12 of the same year, Jiang Tiemin was killed in the fight against bandits in Chu Township, Fangqiao District, Yixing County, at the age of 33. In February 1950, the Southern Jiangsu Administrative Office posthumously recognized Jiang Tiemin as a revolutionary martyr.

When his father died, Jiang Rongfa was only 3 years old, and he was proud to have been born in such a heroic family. Since 1971, Jiang Rongfa has been the secretary of the Branch of Jiang Wei Village in Fangqiao. He always took his father Jiang Tiemin as an example, strictly demanded himself by the standards of a Communist Party member, and was upright, upright, and clean. "Although my father died very early, his spirit influenced my life."
