Some nearby residents and merchants told reporters that there is a light rail under construction near the ground uplift, but whether there is a relationship or not, they do not know. In the early hours of the day, they did not hear anything unusual.
According to Huang Jialong, director of the Yunyan District Emergency Management Bureau, who is dispatching and commanding on the spot, after receiving the feedback, various functional departments of the Yunyan District Government rushed to the scene to respond to the emergency, fortunately, no casualties were caused, and the gas and electricity were not found to be affected on the surface, but they were worried about the sinking situation and pulled the pipeline apart.
After on-site investigation, several experts have initially grasped some information. According to the opinions of the experts, due to the unknown underground situation, it is not possible to carry out the rescue immediately, and the reason must be ascertained first. Currently, three working groups set up by electricity, gas and light rail construction are judging the causes of the ground uplift.
In addition, for the sake of safety, the Yunyan district has asked the construction personnel of the light rail to evacuate urgently, and some staff are preparing to close the underground passage to avoid the recurrence of the dangerous situation.
