In the outpatient hall of Chaoyang Campus, medical staff patiently and meticulously explained the causes, triggers and prevention knowledge of stroke to the masses, and guided high-risk groups to use drugs rationally. In the Cross Street community, neurology health managers also use simple "Stroke 120" and "BE FAST" mantras to highlight how to identify early symptoms of stroke, a healthy lifestyle to prevent stroke occurrence or recurrence, and stroke rehabilitation treatment options.

The Department of Neurology of the Third Hospital of Nanchang Was established in the 1980s, after decades of efforts, it has developed from the initial 3 physicians to 14, including 3 chief physicians, 2 deputy chief physicians, 1 specialist rehabilitation division, 2 neuroelectrophysiological technicians, and 2/3 with a master's degree or above; a total of 70 beds in one hospital and two districts, including 50 in Fuhe Hospital and 20 in Chaoyang Hospital, integrating medical treatment, teaching and scientific research. The department is equipped with a critical care room, with ECG monitors, electronic cooling blankets, ventilators, defibrillators and other rescue equipment; equipped with respiratory sleep monitors, swallowing disorder treatment instruments and other monitoring and treatment equipment. The department has 2 electromyoelectric evoked potentiometers, 2 transcranial Doppler instruments, and 2 EEG.
More than 2,000 inpatients are admitted annually, nearly 30,000 outpatients are outpatients, the department pays attention to discipline construction, and has sent personnel to Beijing Tiantan Hospital, Shanghai Huashan Hospital, Shanghai Tongji Hospital, the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, the Third Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University and many other well-known domestic hospitals for further study, improve the overall diagnosis and treatment level of the department, continuously develop various sub-specialties of neurology, and neurological cerebrovascular disease (cerebral hemorrhage, cerebral infarction, transient ischemic attack, etc.), neurodegenerative disease (dementia, Parkinson's disease, etc.), demyelinating diseases (Guillain-Barre syndrome, multiple sclerosis, etc.), epilepsy, central nervous system infections, myogenic diseases and other complications have rich clinical experience.
